From Quito to Washington DC: The Doptus Story
Doptus did not start in Washington DC. Doptus arrived in Washington DC with 20 years of evidence.
Built in Ecuador
Doptus was founded in Ecuador by Andrés Navas with a clear premise: organizations communicate better when they start with a diagnostic, not a proposal.
That premise was tested across two decades of client engagements — media organizations, multinational foundations, corporate brands, and institutional clients. Clients included Fundación Telefónica Movistar across five Latin American countries, GamaTV, Teleamazonas, Hamburguesas El Corral, Nestlé, and dozens of institutional clients in education, health, construction, and technology.
During this period, the D.O.P.T.U.S.™ methodology was formalized: Diagnose, Optimize, Produce, Traffic, Upsell, Scale. Six phases. One system. Built from hundreds of engagements.
Inside the Multilateral Ecosystem in Washington DC
Andrés Navas served as Communications Director for an IDB-affiliated association in Washington DC — coordinating programs alongside World Bank and IMF communities. This experience revealed that established organizations in the DC area faced the same communication infrastructure challenges Doptus had been solving in Latin America for 15 years.
Binational Operations
Today Doptus operates from Washington DC, Quito, and Mexico City with a senior team distributed across both markets. Doptus serves organizations in the US and Latin America — with bilingual capacity in English and Spanish, and with the D.O.P.T.U.S.™ methodology as its foundation.
